Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasus; above visor, A; before neck, [Φ]; behind neck, IE in shallow incuse square. Rev. ΥEΛHTΩN Lion attacking stag to left. HN Italy 1318. Williams 564 (O282/R395). Nicely toned. Minor marks and with light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of Judge Hans-Joachim Specht (1935-2024), ex Hirsch 346, 13 February 2019, 2021 and previously from the collection of a southern German scholar, formed in the 1950s-1960s.
